EDI was retained by Moody Nolan, Inc.; the architect designing and leading construction of the new $44 Million, 5-story, 121,750 square foot medical building in the Illinois Medical District, which is now Mile Square Health Center’s primary practice location.
EDI conducted a Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) at the project site and provided conclusions and recommendations for the design of the new center. At the client’s request, EDI also prepared a Soil Management Plan to guide the proper management, removal, and disposal of the site’s soils during construction.
EDI also provided consulting related to the IEPA’s Site Remediation Program (SRP) and remedial oversight. The facility opened in 2014.
