Thomas Green

Thomas has more than 25 years of experience in the civil engineering and surveying field. He is a drainage and utilities expert as evidenced by his project experience, and certification by the Illinois Association for Floodplain and Stormwater Management as a Certified Floodplain Manager. His background in engineering and surveying demonstrates his versatility as he smoothly handled his responsibilities as a surveyor in addition to workload as a Project Engineer. He has completed all the field and office aspects of each of his projects from gathering field surveying data with the instrument to preparing the Civil Engineering Plans utilizing Autocad Civil 3D. As the President and owner of Thomas Green Engineering, P.C., Mr. Green was responsible for all of the daily activities of an engineering firm such as design, drafting, accounting, marketing, sales, etc., which gives him a better knowledge of what it takes for a project to be delivered successfully while making a profit. His background in surveying, construction staking, and inspection provides the ability to handle a project from start to finish. Additionally, Mr. Green understands the needs of public agencies due to his experience working as a Civil Engineer for the Village of Oakbrook, IL and his several years of plan review experience. He gained valuable railroad experience working with the TKDA Illinois office as both a surveyor and an engineer.
