Mickey Harrison

Mickey Harrison is an experienced Recruiter, Backoffice Guru, and Human Resources Lead. Driven by care and concern for others, he takes pride in providing the best support possible. As EDI’s Human Resources Lead, his goals include support at all levels focusing on employee engagement and locating the best possible talent in the market. In addition to his primary job functions, Mickey has been recognized by EDI for his extraordinary commitment to excellence, communication, commitment and coordination.

A pioneer in the Human Resource space, Mickey has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Virginia Tech.  Driven by a mission to bring the best possible talent.  Mickey is best known for inspiring others to excel and believe in themselves.

Mickey’s passion for Human Resources can be traced back to his past government experience, where he spent significant time working within the Office of Personnel Management. As a human resources lead, he specialized in State employment compliance, firm staffing, and employee benefits.

Mickey has worked in the Human Resources industry for 29 years delivering talent acquisition, retention and motivation solutions that help EDI harness the full power of one of their most valuable assets – their people.  With his dedication to creating a robust corporate culture that promotes continuous business growth and cultivates customer loyalty by empowering and motivating employees to realize their full potential and bring their best to the job.

Outside of the office, Mickey enjoys family, fishing, and a love for his American Bully’s.
