Scott Dileto, CHMM, Vice President, Environmental
Since joining EDI in 1999, Scott has successfully managed several environmental projects of all sizes, including those for EDI's major public sector clients such as the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the Chicago Department of Environment (CDOE), the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA), the Chicago Department of Water Management (CDWM), and the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRDGC). Key recent projects of his include environmental monitoring for the Dan Ryan Reconstruction Project, extensive environmental assessment and remediation work for the O'Hare Modernization Program (OMP), and city-wide environmental assessment and investigation work for CDWM.
With more than 14 years of experience, Scott's background in environmental consulting and construction encompasses environmental property assessments; indoor air quality studies; ambient air monitoring; lead and asbestos inspections; abatement design; subsurface investigations; underground and above ground storage tank management; and soil and groundwater remediation design.
Scott is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) and Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) licensed Asbestos Inspector. Scott is also a member of the Illinois Association of Environmental Professionals (IAEP) and the Alliance for Hazardous Materials Professionals (AHMP).
