Heritage Park Master Plan

Wheeling Park District (WPD) has adopted a Master Plan for major recreational improvements to Heritage Park. As a subconsultant to AECOM, EDI is part of the team working on the MWRDGC Heritage Park Flood Control Facility project which incorporates the stormwater detention needs with the Park District's Master Plan. Major Master Plan features include athletic fields and recreational paths.

As AECOM's primary site civil design sub-consultant, EDI is responsible for many of the major Master Plan improvements planned for Heritage Park. EDI is currently preparing contract plans and specifications for various site features including parking, drainage, sanitary sewers, water mains, erosion and sediment control plans and details for the entire park improvement area.

This project utilizes AutoCAD Civil 3D and EDI's in-depth experience with this software. The project team also benefits from EDI's successful experience on other MWRDGC projects, as well as a comprehensive depth of experience with park district and site enhancement projects throughout the Chicago land area.
