Chicago Department of Water Management Capital Improvement Program

EDI was teamed with CTR, a joint-venture formed of the firms of CH2MHill, Teng & Associates, Inc., and the Rise Group, LLC to provide construction management and the Design of Proposed Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Pedestrian Ramps on the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects for the Chicago Department of Water Management (CDOWM).

EDI's assignments were initially focused on Construction Inspection and Management for water distribution projects led by the CTR Joint Venture. EDI's scope expanded to include Survey services, and ADA Ramp Design for pedestrian corridors affected by the Capital Improvement Program. Enhancing these pedestrian access points in tandem with the CIP work has reduced overall construction cost to the City of Chicago, while lessening the impact to pedestrians by avoiding subsequent construction and closures.
