Claire Williams Appointed to the Forest Preserve Foundation Board

EDI's President and Chief Operating Officer Claire Williams has long championed efforts that get diverse and disadvantaged Chicagoland youth moving, healthy, and enjoying the outdoors. Organizations like Girls in the Game, and the Forest Preserve Foundation have been able to count on Claire's organizing efforts and EDI's support for golf outings and other fundraising events over the years.

In February 2017, Claire was named to the Forest Preserve Foundation's Board of Directors, which is an organization dedicated to keeping the Forest Preserves of Cook County wonderful places for our youth to explore, play, and learn. A co-chair of the 2017 Conservation Cup Committee, Claire is looking forward to the annual event on September 14, 2017, which will help fund a variety of important Forest Preserve programs.

"At the end of the day, it's all about the kids and the education that the money raised during the Cup outing allows the Foundation to grant various organizations," Claire said. "Leading up to the event is always a great time for me to reach out to EDI clients and friends to persuade them to get on board with us and support the cause too!"
