Springbrook Prairie Wetland Mitigation Site

This project provided for the rehabilitation of a 1,200 acre prairie currently utilized as a recreational area by DuPage County residents. This project allowed for the regeneration of waterways that are providing a home to natural vegetation and wildlife. The project also included the construction of recreational paths to be used by pedestrians and cyclists. EDI provided Construction Observation for the duration of the project. This included performing winter shut-down inspections to monitor site stabilization and erosion control equipment. EDI surveyors also performed site and field surveys to verify construction quantities completed and in progress.
