Chicago Public Schools Design Management

As a project team-member, EDI provides professional technical guidance, oversight and special project assessments as the Owner's Representative for Environmental Design Management Services to the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) Capital Improvement Program. The services provided include professional observation, oversight, construction consulting and coordination for design, renovation and construction of properties for CPS's capital construction program.

EDI oversees and coordinates with the work of the Managing Environmental Consultants (MECs) retained to perform environmental services for all of CPS facilities, totaling over 600 buildings across the City of Chicago. EDI provides CPS with coordination, direction, support and direct environmental services not covered by MECs, and for special projects and assessments.
